UT San Antonio Hazlewood Act Automation Process Continues Spring 2026!
No need to submit any additional paperwork! You should see that the exemption is applied by the Census Date, February 4!
What does this mean for you? As long as you’ve used the Hazlewood Benefit at least ONCE within ONE of the past THREE semesters, you’ll no longer need to submit a continued enrollment form. Our office will reach out via your student email if there are any issues with your exemption

Priority Deadlines for Processing Benefits
Documents must be accurate and submitted by the deadline. We cannot guarantee that GI Bill® certification requests and Hazlewood exemption requests submitted after these dates will be processed by the first day of the semester, although we will continue to accept these documents until the end of the respective term.
